A new trailer and the Japanese broadcast schedule have been published for Bloom Into You (known in Japan as Yagate Kimi ni Naru), an upcoming TV anime based on the yuri romance manga by Nio Nakatani about a girl who discovers that her favorite pop songs and shoujo manga have left her completely unprepared for her first encounter with romance.
The original Yagate Kimi ni Naru manga is serialzied by ASCII Media Works in their Dengeki Daioh seinen manga magazine, and an English language version of Yagate Kimi ni Naru is published by Seven Seas Entertainment under the title Bloom Into You. Seven Seas describes the story of the series as follows:
Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and hearts, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her…she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That’s when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she’s inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has her shoujo romance finally begun?
The Bloom Into You TV anime is directed by Makoto Katō and features animation by TROYCA. The series will broadcast in Japan according to the following TV schedule:
- AT-X: every Friday during the 21:30 time slot beginning on October 05, 2018.
- Tokyo MX: every Friday during the 22:30 time slot beginning on October 05, 2018.
- Sun TV: every Friday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on October 05, 2018.
- KBS Kyoto: every Friday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on October 05, 2018.
- TV Aichi: every Friday during the 27:05 time slot beginning on October 05, 2018.
- TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting: every Saturday during the 26:30 time slot beginning on October 06, 2018.
- BS11: every Friday during the 25:00 time slot beginning on October 05, 2018.
Bloom Into You will also be digitally distributed on d Anime Store on Fridays during the 22:00 time slot beginning on October 05, 2018. Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 27:05 time slot on Friday evening is actually on Saturday morning at 3:05 AM JST.
